This theme has been in the make for quite some time and today it is finally time to unveil it. It has been entered into the ongoing theme conpetition at MacThemes [link] . We're glad to present to you all, Lördagsgodis. I hope you all will enjoy the time we spent making this theme.
The only note I have is in regards to the iPod icon in the bottom right. The rest of the icons are head-on, while that one is clearly tilted down for a shot at the top...
While I think it is done exceptionally well, I think it throws my eyes off as it looks out of place within all the other icons. This is certainly not a dealbreaker, I totally cannot wait to put this on my iPod Touch.
Other than that small bit, this looks like the best, and most original theme I have seen in a long time.
i love love love these- i use the icons on my pc even- not just on iphone- they're too sweet to not use everywhere- i want more & more of this set! Really nice job man- A++
Hi, this is an incredibly beautiful theme. I have a question though, not all my icons are getting resized when I install an app. Is it just because the icon cache does not contain a "shrunk" icon for some apps?
If that's the case, how easy would it be to take an application's icon and just shrink it to match the size of those that are already shrunk?
Sorry about the n00b questions, just tryna get into the design/editing game.
The reason some icons get shrunk automaticly and some dont is that since 3.0 the SpringBoard caches have been corrupted, there only way to fix this is to manually erase the SpringBoard displaystate caches when applying and changing themes.
Theese caches are located inside /var/mobile/Library/Caches/ and are usually named something like "com.springboard.displaystate" and similar. Theese should be safe to erase and after you are done respring your phone. Do this at your own risk but at I stated before there should be no way to actually damage the system of the phone by clearing out some old corrupted caches.
Hi *Plizzo, Thanks for the response. Sorry for the double post on my question. I'm not sure if you saw the reply I posted in response to your answer but the long story short, after deleting the caches, all my icons are now shrunk automatically with the exception of my cydia/ rock app installed ones. Any idea why this is?
